Dreamscape: The otter meets a fox
Truman Capote wrote the scene, of course; a demure dress and charming hat, stainless steel and glass partitions. Safe to bait, because there are keepers present; if it gets to heated or too intense, a simple wave of a hand, flick of a wrist and the offender is taken away.
Or led past an exit sign, into daylight.
Palpable relief this morning, my hands wrapped around my china mug pulling in the warmth. We don't have to live those fragmented dreams.
