Exquisite Corpse: chat group edition
My friend P mistyped a line so I made a game of it, whilst I soaked up a London (not yet) summer on the Woolwich Ferry.
'Beautiful god to want a view above where all is seen before it is forgotten or left forlorn. What would that be, one wonders, staring out at the water.
Newspaper crumpled on the floor of a train car. A shoe abandoned by the side of the road. The love letter she forgot to send.'
And it is timely, because last night I found a love letter 21 years old that I thought I had posted to Milan. But I don't regret not sending it. The boy wasn't worthy of the envelope's content, even if he did introduce me to Joe Henry's music.
